Second day of work
Because they decided I couldn't lift stuff up, my workload has changed quite much. Now a lot of my work is sorting through documents - like papers for returned items and lists of prisoners' belongings - and putting them in the right order. I also tape up boxes so they can be shipped off.
So today's work wasn't too bad. But they made it quite clear to me that this isn't permanent; I'm gonna have to go back to lifting stuff up. So they told me I should start exercising. I hate this.
When I got back from work, Serena had fallen asleep... That made me sad for a bit, but then she woke up earlier than usual so we still got to talk :)
While Serena was sleeping, I started Deltarune Chapter 4. I was thinking Chapter 3 ended so early without any Real Life sections, but turns out they put that into the beginning of Chapter 4. It makes sense, because there is no good "cut off" point, and the ending of the sequence throws you into the new Dark World location right away.
I played for like an hour and it was just that whole sequence! It was really good. I love the Susie/Noelle relationship and I genuinely like how Kris is getting built up as their own character. They're such a little freak.
I'm now excited for the new dark world segment because Bea said it's very Ralsei focused and Ralsei hasn't gotten the spotlight these past chapters. I don't like Ralsei because I don't like most "soft boy" characters. Something about the lack of any edge or the overwhelming kindness gets my defence mechanisms up. It is funny how similar Bea looks to him though. He is cute, I'll admit.
I was spoiled on something about Chapter 3 - most notably, that the Knight shows up at the end. But that only made me wanna beat it more so I could actually see the scene. Also, in my game, Tenna is fucking dead! I didn't recruit enough Shadow Guys so he's just dead to me now and I missed some bonus content. That makes me really sad. I guess more reason to replay the game some years down the load. I didn't like Tenna but I still would've liked to see all that content.
I haven't been spoiled about ANYTHING on Chapter 4 and I intend to keep things that way. It's getting hard though. The first week was fine, but now that I started liking some fan art, Twitter feels like I'm comfortable with spoiler posts, so I might have to mute some keywords which I've never done before. But apparently Chapter 4 is twice as long as Chapter 2 so it might take me all week lol.
