Today I woke up and I was really sick. It was my rhinitis acting up and my nose was all plugged up. I couldn't breathe out of my nose so I had a really bad headache too. And I also had a sore throat.
I woke up at around 12:10 and the hospitals closed at 1PM so I hurried onto one. I got some medicine and had lunch and came back. And then I called Serena for about 2 and a half hours. It was fun! It seems like she had some sorta breakdown earlier in the day so I just wanted to be comforting to her. I love her so much.
After that I took a shower. One of my roommates said the table I got was kind of a weird one that doesn't fit my space, so he told me to rearrange some stuff. Then I took a nap for like 2 hours, I think. I woke up and had a cup ramen. The first time I'm having ramen since I came to this detention centre, I think.
I'm also watching Peacemaker Season 1 again. Apparently Season 2 is coming out soon.
Tomorrow I work again. But it's not even really work. I just have to sit in a room in the living quarters and make a phone call saying everything is fine every hour. I do this from 8AM to 2PM. This is something you usually do on a night shift, from 5pm to 10pm. There's also slots for 10pm-2am and 2am-6am, which rotates around every alternative service member, not just security department workers. If you get the nightly job, you don't have to work the next morning. Anyway, for some reason I have to do it in the morning.
There's also 2 new members to the living quarters here. I also have the job of bringing them to the cafeteria, because the cafeteria by the living quarters aren't open during weekends; you have to go to the one inside the detention centre. And new members aren't allowed inside the detention centre until they're assigned work. So I have to lead them there during lunch. It's not a big deal because I can actually use my phone and stuff during work, so I only lose like an hour of time.
I will probably go to sleep soon, since I do have to be awake at 8AM. I'm gonna read through the MIDI Bunny Novel Act 1 tomorrow and show it around to some people. I do have the kingdom hall meeting at 4PM which sucks but I'll deal with it.
I can't believe it's been one week since that whole thing happened with Bea. It literally doesn't feel like a week. Like, it doesn't. Time flies by weird during the night shift.
