Hey I got through the night shift again! Again, the night shifts are just... so easy now. It's crazy that I, like, did 7 months of this without it being like this lol.
Minsu is transferring to another prison. Which sucks, I loved that guy. But he only has 8 months left in his service and he's going to the Southern Correctional Institution of Seoul, which is the best centre to be in for the alternative service across the country. He basically wants to spend the rest of the time taking a load off, and can't blame him.
Anyway, I made a new friend today. His name is Griff and I saw his art on the Cool and New Music Team server. Apparently he's been in the server for 10 years and I never really encountered him before. But I liked his art style a lot so I hit him up and we began talking a bunch.
I guess he is very into plunderphonics music? Because he's making this DJ mix and making me listen to it. It's just like... yknow. Sped up versions of other songs and stuff. But it's cool. I make playlists too and I guess that counts as mixes. And he actually has an opportunity to play this DJ mix at a German radio station which is cool.
He wants to call and hang out tonight so let's see how this goes. I'm in the Visitation Room again. Guy who had it reserved gave the spot to me.
Tomorrow I go home again for a day! Not sure what Imma do again. I'm definitely not gonna sleep it off like last time lol.
I'm writing this blog post that I'm gonna post on my website about my list of inspirations and influences. Bea helped me identify some ones I missed because she just knows me like that.
