So today we had a little trip to inside the detention centre. Wasn't much to see though.
More importantly, I was assigned to a department today. The storage department. I'm a bit mixed about it. They told me it was because I'm not as good at speaking Korean, so they assigned me to a job where a lot of people are, so I can follow their lead. If I worked alone, I might not get the hang of it soon. That's true.
But it's also a department where I'll be doing some heavy lifting, probably literally. I'll be managing the prisoners' personal items and their purchased items as well. Probably a lot of moving around boxes and stuff which I hate doing. But a lot of co workers mean I can also rely on the more. In my room Brother Oh is also in storage, so I can ask him for guidance as well.
So I guess a little mixed, but leaning on positive. Apparently the prisoners buy a lot of books and you can open them and read them a lot. I think I'll enjoy doing that lol.
Besides that I went outside for the first time in forever today! It was for the kingdom hall meeting, which you have to request in a forum board. All four of us new members went to the Gwacheon congregation and... it was a bit rough. There was maybe 40 or 50 people there, which is a small congregation. There were 3 elders, I think 3 ministry servant (basically JW heleprs) and one of them is leaving soon.
So if I go to this congregation, the workload is going to be MASSIVE, for lack of a better words. I am looking into other ones, but it seems like all the congregations my roommates are going to are full of members and aren't accepting new ones. So I'm all out of luck. I don't know what I'm going to do, except I'll keep looking for new congregations, I suppose.
I ate at KFC before going to the kingdom hall meeting. I got a chicken sandwich and three pieces of chicken so I'm pretty full for the night.
DELTARUNE!!! I started playing Deltarune Chapter 3 today. (I downloaded it during the kingdom hall meeting lol) My first impressions are... It's alright? I think Chapter 1 is great and Chapter 2 is amazing, btw. But first impressions of Chapter 3 aren't the best. It's just alright. I suppose an average Toby Fox experience. The TV character isn't capturing me like Lancer and Queen did immediately.
I think I'll warm up to it though, and there's a whole new Chapter 4 to look forward to which is exciting. I played for 70 minutes today and I died a LOT because I haven't played Deltarune in like 3 years. So I'm still at the green room after round 1. I won't get a lot of time to play this every day, although I'm gonna try to play a lot tomorrow since it's a holiday and I won't be doing much.
It's 35 minutes past midnight so I should get ready to sleep soon. I drank like 4 cans of coffee tonight but I'm still pretty sleepy. I've grown a resistance to caffeine.
